Blueberry Bay
A colourful cautionary tale that gently introduces children to the dangers of plastic pollution in oceans. Sylvia Seal and a cast of saltwater friends suggest practical ways children can help save the sea. Blueberry Bay was showcased by the Canadian Government as part of the World Oceans Day celebrations, and is an official classroom teaching resource of the Department of Fisheries & Oceans. Illustrated by Leigh Davies.
The Sniger
& the Floose
A lyrical, nonsense poem set on an island of mixed-up, fantastical animals. In 2023 it made the Canadian Globe & Mail's shortlist of Top 10 Books for Young Children who reviewed it as “a perfect read-aloud that, even in its silliest moments, is a gentle reminder to respect and preserve the beauty of the natural world around us, and a joyous celebration of imagination.” Published by Running the Goat Press.
